Chattyness: Making the Internet Feel Like a Place Again

Our guest speaker Evan Carroll will share Chattyness, an immersive 2D virtual world built around conversation, social interaction, and live video, and an experiment in making the internet feel like a place again.

Evan will walk through the journey of building Chattyness, including:

• The idea behind the project and the technology that makes it possible
• The market Evan thinks it fits into
• The lessons learned from the successes, mistakes, and unexpected challenges along the way
• Where the project is today, where it’s headed next, and the problems still left to figure out

Join us for our October Side Project Society meetup — a monthly IRL gathering for people building things alongside their 9-to-5 🚀
